Welcome to Ready To Govern! These are one-off trainings that are specific to one office. They are held virtually on Tuesday evenings in August from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Schedule and Content

Ready To Govern will cover how to serve in elected office, as well as the daily duties and responsibilities of an elected or appointed official for the following positions:

• August 1: County Commission

• August 8: Library and Advisory Boards

• August 15: City Council and Township Board

• August 22: School Board

• August 29: County, City, and Township Clerks
